Weekend Stay Inside And Watch Sports Guide - Fall Has Arrived

New, 5 comments

You live in Denver. You can watch sports AND be outside. Hello rooftops!

All times Mountain.

Diamondbacks at Rockies: FSN-RM, 7:10 PM -- Joe Saunders vs Jorge De La Rosa -- The Rocks go for seven in a row against the D-Backs while the Padres and Giants duke it out in Cali. Someone please tell me how we can have both of them lose?

Colorado at California: FSN, 1:30 PM -- The Buffs head to Berkeley to take on the Golden Bears. Colorado was always considered the hippies of the Big 12. Can we out hippie the hippies? I don't think so. We are like middle ground hippies in the Pac-10 (12).

Colorado Rapids at New York Red Bulls: KWGN Ch. 2, 2:00 PM -- The Rapids are clinging to a 4th place spot with Seattle and San Jose nipping... ah, forget it. I don't need to pretend to know enough about MLS anymore. We have a Rapids blog to teach you that now!

Brigham Young at Air Force: Versus, 2:00 PM -- Big game for Air Force as they head to Norman to take on the Sooners next. The good news is, there is no way that the Cougars will be able to handle the altitude in the Springs. I mean, what is Salt Lake City? Basically sea level? Pfffftt...

Diamondbacks at Rockies: FSN-RM, 6:10 PM -- Rodrigo Lopez vs Ubaldo Jimenez -- Former Rockie Rodrigo Lopez tries to end what will now be an eight game winning streak. He is a former Rockie so we hate him and he will lose.

Colorado State at Nevada: ESPNU, 8:30 PM -- Nevada is the last team that the Rams beat, only 10 or so games ago. Im guessing (and so is Las Vegas what with that 23.5 point spread) that they won't be doing it again.

Broncos at Jaguars: FOX, 11:00 -- Week one. Thank goodness we have the Broncos back. Everyone remember how great the first game of last season was? Let' s hope for that magic one more time.

Diamondbacks at Rockies: FSN-RM, 1:10 PM -- Ian Kennedy vs Jhoulys Chacin -- Jhoulys has been pitching lights out since he got called back up. Sunday day game during the Broncos game? Will there even be a crowd there to see this one?
