Carlos Gonzalez Hits Two Homers In Ubaldo Jimenez's 17th Win

Denver, CO (Sports Network) – Carlos Gonzalez hit a pair of homers and drove in three as Colorado topped San Francisco, 6-1, in the finale of a two-game set from Coors Field.

Ryan Spilborghs added two RBI and Troy Tulowitzki posted three hits and knocked in the other run for the Rockies, who recovered nicely from a 10-0 setback in the series opener on Tuesday and have won five of six overall.

Ubaldo Jimenez (17-2) went seven strong innings, scattering four hits and one run, fanning nine with two walks.

Buster Posey knocked in the only run for the Giants, who saw their four-game win streak ended.

Madison Bumgarner (4-4) was charged in the loss with nine hits and four runs over four-plus frames.
