Weekend Stay Inside And Watch Sports Guide - Rockies Begin A Crucial Series

You live in Denver. You can watch sports AND be outside. Hello rooftops!

All times Mountain.

FRIDAY

Dodgers at Rockies: FSN-RM, 7:10 PM -- Clayton Kershaw vs Ubaldo Jimenez -- Both of these teams are coming after sweeping good opponents and the Dodgers are now only a game behind Colorado. Kershaw has gotten the best of the Rockies in LA lately but Ubaldo continues to be strong at home.

SATURDAY

Dodgers at Rockies: FSN-RM, 6:10 PM -- Chad Billingsley vs Jhoulys Chacin -- Jhoulys looks to try and get another performance like his nine strikeout gem against Arizona on Sunday. If he can continue to pitch like that then I will feel a lot better about the rotation for this year and next.

Houston Dynamo at Colorado Rapids: FSC, 5:30 PM -- The Rapids are entering the home stretch of their schedule with ten games remaining in the 2010 season. They are basically battling Seattle, San Jose and Houston for a playoff spot and this is the only game they have left against any of the three. Colorado cannot let this game get away from them at home.

SUNDAY

Rockies at Diamondbacks: FSN-RM, 2:10 PM -- Jason Hammel vs Ted Lilly -- Going for a sweep? I might be getting ahead of myself, actually I always get ahead of myself. The Rockies will be looking for a sweep on Sunday afternoon.

Steelers at Broncos: FOX, 6:00 -- The Broncos take on the Steelers in a nationally televised game on Sunday night. Denver is starting to get healthy and there is a chance that both LenDale White and Correll Buckhalter could both see the field. One thing we do know, Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall does not have a broken arm.
