Maurice Clarett Wants Back Into Football

Last month we learned that former Broncos draft choice Maurice Clarett returned to Ohio State. Now the latest news on Clarett is that he wants to play professionally again. While the NFL is out of the question, Clarett hopes to attend an out-of-state tryout for the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League, reports Patrick Saunders. Clarett is unable to leave the state unless a judge grants his motion to participate in the tryout.

If allowed to attend the tryout and then sign with the Nighthawks, Clarett could play with several former Broncos, including G P.J. Alexander, OT George Foster, and TE Jeb Putzier. Check out the entire roster here.
