2011 Rockies Interleague Schedule Revealed

Updating news from a couple of weeks ago, Troy Renck has a little more info on who the Rockies will play in 2011. While we are still weeks away from finding out the full schedule, Renck reveals that the Rockies will visit the New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners for interleague play and will host a trio of AL Central teams: the Royals, Tigers and White Sox.

This will be the Rockies' first trip to the Bronx since 2004 when the team was swept three games to none. That was back when the Rockies had the likes of Aaron Miles and Royce Clayton playing up the middle. The Rockies' last trip to Seattle came in 2006, which the team won the series two games to one. That series will best be remembered for Josh Fogg's career-best start. He threw a two-hit complete game shutout in one hour and fifty-two minutes.
