Colorado State's Starting Quarterback: Freshman Pete Thomas

New, 1 comment

When the Colorado State Rams offense takes the field at Invesco on September 4, true freshman Pete Thomas will be in the backfield as the team's starting quarterback. Head coach Steve Fairchild announced the decision yesterday, and for Thomas there can be no bigger stage to start a career on than against an in-state rival in the house the Broncos call home.

Via CSURams.com:

"I’m pretty excited, but you can’t be thinking about that," Thomas said. "You can’t be thinking about how many people you’re going to be playing in front of. You just have to go out and play the game like you’ve been playing since you were little."
