Earlier in August the Broncos waived/injured safety Josh Barrett, and then head coach Josh McDaniels' former mentor, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, claimed Barrett off of waivers. The Denver Post's Jeff Legwold received an e-mail from Barrett's father, but produced by Barrett. A highlight:
