Broncos Make Roster Moves In Preparation Of Rookie Signings

To say this is the ‘Dead Zone’ in terms of NFL news and notes is an understatement. With Training Camp about 3 weeks away, teams are getting that last bit of vacation out of the way before the seven-month grind of the season starts once again.

There is a small bit of work to do, however, including getting the rookies signed. One sure-fire way to tell some signings are on the horizon is when the Broncos make a roster move. Today, the team did just that by releasing a pair of receivers in Dicky Lyons and Landis Williams.

One reason could be that the Broncos are getting close on a pair of receivers they drafted back in April – Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker.
