As the Denver Post reports:
Veterans report Saturday and will be on the field for their first practice Sunday morning, but [Jamal] Williams has been designated physically unable to perform (PUP) by the team this week. Players are designated as PUP in training camp when they cannot participate fully in practice when camp opens.
From 1998 to 2009, Williams played for the San Diego Chargers and signed with the Broncos to be the big man in the team’s 3-4 defense. Hopefully Williams will not be on the PUP list for too long.
