John Elway recently took some time out from the Colorado Open to discuss the Broncos. As Mike Klis from the Denver Post reports:
↵↵↵"Maybe they [the Broncos] make eight, nine, 10 wins would be a good year, I would think. But show a little more consistency and finish the season out. The Broncos have had such a tough time the last three or four years finishing the season. That's going to have to be one of the things they'll have to break: play better at the end of the year[,]" [Elway said.]
↵
That's not exactly a ringing endorsement for the team, but it's the consistency part that's most important. The old tried and true method of starting well, continuing well, and finishing well is something the Broncos have failed to do of late.
↵Elway also mentions that the Broncos need all the young guys to step up and that he thinks very highly of Tim Tebow. He hedges on Tebow's throwing motion, believing that Tebow just needs time to throw if he can't shorten his release.
↵Broncos football is starting to permeate the air.
