Yesterday afternoon Jim Tracy announced that the post-All-Star Break rotation for the Rockies will be Jason Hammel, Jorge De La Rosa, Aaron Cook, Ubaldo Jimenez, and Jeff Francis. As a result, Jimenez will receive extended time off before he takes the mound again, as Troy Renck writes:
↵↵↵Tracy wanted extra rest for Jimenez and Francis and thought it was best to split left-handers up. Jimenez will need rest after all-star game then he will attend the ESPYs.

Depending on how the Marlins' rotation is set up for the second half of the season, we might see a Jimenez-Josh Johnson match-up that Monday. You won't want to miss two of the best pitchers in the game facing each other.
↵Should any of these starters leave the rotation for any reason, the Rockies have Jhoulys Chacin waiting in the bullpen.
