For Dan Hawkins, losing another coveted in-state recruit is bad enough. It will certainly give his detractors more ammunition in their arguments against him coaching the Buffaloes. But losing a 6-foot-7 offensive lineman from the Denver area to UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel? That could cause the Buff faithful to assume someone has a voodoo doll with a big CU logo right in the middle.
↵↵↵"Coach (Rick) Neuheisel gave me a personal tour," Mustoe said. "They really went all out and rolled out the red carpet. It was a good place, and I fell in love with it while I was out there."
↵Mustoe, who will be a senior, helped Arvada West to an 11-2 season last year, which included a trip to the semifinals in Class 5A. Behind Mustoe, back Issac Fairburn ran for 938 yards and 10 touchdowns.
