After missing three games to mourn the loss of his sister, Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony is expected to return to the lineup tonight to face the Portland Trail Blazers.
In Melo's absence, the Nuggets lost three consecutive games for the first time this season, dropping games against the San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder and at home to the Philadelphia 76ers.
While Melo was gone, Chauncey Billups led the team in scoring, averaging 24.7 ppg during the three losses.
The Blazers are led by Greg Oden LaMarcus Aldridge, and his 18.9 points per game. Former Nuggets Marcus Camby and Andre Miller lead the team in the other statistical relevant categories: rebounding, blocks, assists and steals.
The crucial intra-divisional game will be the second in as many days for the Blazers, as they flew out of Salt Lake after their victory over the Jazz last night.
Tonight's game is set to tip at 7:00 p.m. MT and can be seen in person at the Pepsi Center or on Altitude.
