The Denver Broncos and interim head coach Eric Studesville have announced that Tim Tebow will make his second NFL start, and first at home, this Sunday when the Broncos take on the Houston Texans. Tebow had a relatively strong debut on Sunday in a loss against the Raiders, going 8 of 16 for 138 yards and a touchdown passing and rushing for 78 yards with a 40 yard touchdown run.
The improvement in Tebow's throwing motion from the offseason was visible as he had a few strong passes that some weren't sure that he was able of making. However, he still needs to work on going through his progressions. The 40-yard touchdown run was actually a busted play (it was supposed to be a fullback draw to Lance Ball) but having the ability to gain yards on a broken play like that is obviously a huge plus.
It will be very interesting to see what kind of reception the home crowd gives Tebow in his first serious regular season action in Denver.
