SB Nation’s roundtable of NHL bloggers have released their latest series of Power Rankings today. Last week, Colorado used four straight victories to vault to fourth in the Western Conference.
↵How about this week? An unsteady week of play within the division, combined with the loss of top offensive threat Chris Stewart, should have forecast a downturn for the Avalanche. Instead, they hold steady at fourth place, behind the Vancouver Canucks.
↵The roundtable seems to agree that Colorado is a good team, but a volatile one. Trades, injuries, it’s hard enough keeping track who is on the active roster, let alone how cohesive they are as a unit.
