After beating the Navy Midshipmen for the first time since 2002, the Air Force Falcons moved into the AP Top 25 poll in the college football rankings with the no. 25 ranking. Four teams dropped out of the AP rankings: USC, Texas, North Carolina State, and Penn State.

The Falcons remain outside of the USA Today Top 25 poll, but only two ranked teams dropped out this week. Texas and Penn State fell out after losses to Oklahoma and Iowa on Saturday. Texas was the last team out with 61 points. Air Force came in directly behind the Longhorns with 44 points.

This is the first time Air Force is ranked under head coach Troy Calhoun.

The Air Force Falcons are 4-1 overall and 2-0 in Mountain West Conference play. The Falcons host the Colorado State Rams this Saturday at 12 p.m. MT.
