The NHL Network announced their slate of nationally broadcast games earlier today. After being the sole team without a preseason game broadcast, the Colorado Avalanche have a grand total of one game.
↵Surely it’s against the Detroit Red Wings, right? That rivalry still has national appeal!
↵Edmonton??? Not only a division rival, but the worst team in the division?
↵Avalanche fans, take solace. At least you get to watch 12 Pittsburgh Penguins games, including back-to-back games in March. The Avalanche have a long road to regain their national relevance, it appears.
