You live in Denver. You can watch sports AND be outside. Hello rooftops!
All times Mountain.
FRIDAY
Avalanche at Devils: Altitude, 5:00 PM -- Game three of the five game roadie for the Avs has them head over to New Jersey from Detroit. We're getting relatively close to the 10 year anniversary of the Avalanche beating New Jersey in game seven to take the Stanley Cup. Sure would be nice to win another one...
SATURDAY
UNLV at Colorado State: The Mtn, 12:00 PM -- Wait, the Rams are favored over someone? Could this be the only game that CSU is favored all year (well there is New Mexico).
Avalanche at Islanders: Altitude, 5:00 PM -- The Isles, led by second year winger John Tavares, are a young squad much like the Avalanche. This road game should be the difference between a winning or losing record on the long road trip.
Baylor at Colorado: FCS, 5:00 PM -- With a win over Baylor the Buffaloes will still have a good chance of making a bowl game for only the second time in Dan Hawkins tenure. Lose and the Buffs will be 3-3 and things will start to get really ugly...
Air Force at San Diego State: CBS College Sports, 6:00 PM -- If the Aztecs hadn't been royally screwed in both of their losses this season this game would be a huge match-up to see who could stay with TCU and Utah at the top of the Mountain West. Instead, it's an intriguing game that won't get nearly enough attention nationwide.
Colorado Rapids at Los Angeles Galaxy: KWGN Ch.2, 8:30 PM -- With a win or draw against the Galaxy the Rapids can all but clinch a spot in this year's playoffs. While this end of season stretch has been pretty rough, it would be nice to see Colorado get a few more points so they aren't limping into the playoffs.
Nuggets at Lakers: NBATV, 8:30 PM -- Still preseason, but at least this one is on tv, well it's on tv if you have NBA TV.
SUNDAY
Jets at Broncos: CBS, 2:05 PM -- The last game before the Broncos schedule finally eases up a bit. Now sitting at 2-3, the Broncos would love to get through this stretch at .500.
