The Salt River Rafters pounded their way to a 12-9 victory over the Peoria Javelinas in Arizona Fall League play on Wednesday. Colorado Rockies farmhands Jose Gonzalez and Isaiah Froneberger were contributors for the Rafters in the victory.

Gonzalez went 0-for-3 at the plate, but drew two walks and scored two runs. Gonzalez remains hitless through seven at-bats, but owns a .300 on-base percentage.

Froneberger tossed a scoreless eighth inning, while working around a walk, to secure his first hold of the AFL season. He struck out Seattle Mariners prospect Mike Zunino, who homered and doubled in the game and is hitting .304 during AFL play, to end the inning. Froneberger threw 16 pitches in the inning, 10 for strikes. He now owns a 4.91 ERA through three appearances.

The Rafters will be back in action against Peoria on Thursday at 6:35 p.m. MT from Salt River Fields at Talking Stick.
