The Denver Nuggets won two games in impressive fashion over the weekend.
The Denver Nuggets rolled this weekend with a 99-94 victory against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday before beating up on the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, 122-97.
In other NBA action from this weekend, the Golden State Warriors won in a statement game against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday. Both teams have been equally surprising in their respective conferences, but the Warriors got the 115-93 victory behind 20 points and 11 rebounds from forward David Lee.
Also on Saturday, the New York Knicks dropped the Cleveland Cavaliers despite Cavs point guard Kyrie Irving scoring a career-high 41 points. The Chicago Bulls came out with a nice defensive victory, beating the Brooklyn Nets, 83-82, as well.
Sunday's action saw the Los Angeles Lakers win their second game in a row with a 111-98 victory at Philadelphia, and Portland Trail Blazers rookie Damian Lillard hit a game-winning three-pointer to give his team a 95-94 win against the New Orleans Hornets.
