Denver has struggled to find its footing on the road, but has a favorable matchup against the Kings, and are coming off a huge win over the Grizzlies on Friday night.
The Denver Nuggets have struggled on the road this year, losing to the tune of a 6-11 record. However, after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies at home on Friday night, they will try to build some momentum away from home when they take on the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.
The Nuggets' offense could be in for another good night on Sunday, as the Kings have surrendered over 110 points in two of their past three games, and have lost three straight coming into Sunday. The numbers would indicate that Denver has an advantage here, as they're eighth in the league in points scored, going against the 23rd-ranked team in points allowed. However, considering their road struggles this season, few things are a given for the Nuggets on the road.
The Kings are likely going to be without guard Marcus Thornton for the third straight game, as he's away from the team for personal reasons.
The Nuggets and Kings get started at 4 p.m. MT on Sunday from Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento.
