Denver's 119-116 loss to the Miami Heat over the weekend dropped them to 0-3 on the season.

A bad start to the season for the Denver Nuggets went to worse over the weekend when they lost their third straight road game to start the season despite being in it the entire time against the Miami Heat.

Denver lost to the Heat 119-116 after allowing Ray Allen a four-point play at the end of the game. It was the first close game of the season for the Nuggets, who previously lost games of 84-75 and 102-89 to start out the season.

The Nuggets are currently at the bottom of the Northwest Division with their 0-3 record. The Portland Trail Blazers, who lost to Oklahoma City 106-92 on Friday and then beat the Houston Rockets 95-85 on Saturday, are currently at the top of the division with a 2-1 record.

The Minnesota Timberwolves, who have played one fewer game than the other teams in the division, are in second place with a 1-1 record.
