Golden State used a big second quarter to pull ahead of Denver at the half.
The Golden State Warriors went on a 9-3 run during the last three minutes of the half and hold a 57-43 lead at halftime over the Denver Nuggets. Prior to that run, the game had been close throughout the first 48 minutes.
Denver is being led in scoring by Danilo Gallinari, who has 12 points, and Ty Lawson has contributed 11 points. As a team, the Nuggets are shooting just 44 percent from the field and are just 11 of 18 from the field.
The Warriors have three players in double figures. Klay Thompson leads the way with 16 points, David Lee has 13 and Jarrett Jack has 10.
As a team, Golden State is shooting 50 percent from the field, and they made two more three-pointers than Denver.
