The Denver Nuggets will square off with two Western Conference playoff contenders this week in both Memphis and Minnesota.
Trying desperately to halt a three-game losing streak, George Karl's Denver Nuggets will prepare for a busy week ahead with a number of games crammed into a small window.
The Nuggets will kick off the week on Monday evening with a dangerous road game against one of the best teams in the NBA in the Memphis Grizzlies. The red-hot Grizzlies have reeled off eight straight wins after dropping their opener to the Los Angeles Clippers on Oct. 31, and currently cling to a 1/2 game lead on the San Antonio Spurs in the Southwest Division.
Still only 3-1/2 games behind Oklahoma City for first place in the Northwest Division themselves, the Nuggets will then travel to Minnesota for a game with the Timberwolves two days later after facing the Grizzlies. The two teams have yet to take the court for their first of four meetings in 2012-13, but the Rockets did manage to snatch three wins in four attempts last season over Minnesota.
