Chris Humphreys-US PRESSWIRE
Denver's final preseason game will come against the Phoenix Suns on Friday night.
Time is running low for the Denver Nuggets to finish tuning up for the NBA's regular season. After suffering a poor showing against the LA Clippers at the Pepsi Center on Thursday, they'll have one more preseason game, facing the Phoenix Suns, to get themselves ready to go.
The center rotation of Kosta Koufos, JaVale McGee and Timofey Mozgov is probably going to be used heavily as coach George Karl finally decides who he is going to have as his No. 1 guy going into the season. He has waffled on all three of them as the preseason and practices have gone along. That will be the biggest position to watch on the evening, though Karl will probably rotate through most of his roster throughout the evening.
Denver's final tune-up will be shown nationally on ESPN2, so they'll want to have a slightly better showing than they did in the 106-94 loss to the Clippers. After facing the Suns, they'll prepare for the first game of the regular season in Philadelphia on Halloween.
Info: Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns, US Airways Center
Game Time: 8:30 p.m. MT
TV: ESPN2
