Denver will play two games on Friday and Saturday against the Nebraska-Omaha, and Air Force and Colorado College will be in action as well.
The upcoming weekend is a busy one for college hockey teams in Colorado, as the Air Force Academy, University of Denver, and Colorado College are all playing back-to-back games.
The ninth ranked Pioneers will host 13th ranked Nebraska-Omaha on both Friday and Saturday night. The Mavericks swept a weekend series against Colorado College last weekend, but are only 4-4-0 away from home.
The Air Force Academy will face fellow service academy Army on Friday and Saturday night and need a pair of wins to get themselves back on their feet in the Atlantic Hockey Conference.
Colorado College has a tough task on their hands on Friday and Saturday, as they have to travel up north to face seventh ranked North Dakota. The Tigers haven't won a game since Nov. 30, earning either losses or draws in seven straight games. Oddly enough, that last win was against North Dakota, who hasn't lost since that night.
