The latest AP and USA Today Coaches polls are out for college basketball and the Kentucky Wildcats are still the No. 1 team. Murray State improved to 23-0 but is still outside of the top 5.
The latest USA Today/ESPN Coaches Top 25 Basketball Poll is out and the Kentucky Wildcats remain the No. 1 team in the nation. In the Mountain West, the San Diego St. Aztecs rebounded from No. 17 last week to No. 14 this week. However, it wasn't quite that easy since the Boise St. Broncos took the Aztecs to the final buzzer and only won by two points, 58-56. They defeated TCU over the weekend. UNLV dropped three spots from No. 13 to No. 16 following a loss to the Wyoming Cowboys over the weekend.
The Murray St. Racers remain the only undefeated team in the country with a 23-0 record. They tied with the Florida Gators for the No. 7 spot.
No Pac-12 teams made the top 25, as expected. The Denver Pioneers defeated the Middle Tenn. St. Blue Raiders on Saturday, but the Blue Raiders still received six votes.

College Basketball Rankings: Kentcuky Remains No. 1 In AP Poll
There were no changes at the top of the latest AP Top 25 Basketball Poll. The first six spots remained the same with Kentucky, Syracuse, Ohio State, Missouri, North Carolina and Baylor taking spots 1-6, respectively. Duke was the previous No. 7, but they lost to unranked Miami over the weekend and dropped to No. 10. The 23-0 Murray State Racers moved from No. 10 to No. 9, but the Florida Gators jumped from No. 12 to No. 8. The Gators are 19-4.
The San Diego St. Aztecs moved up four spots from No. 17 to No. 13. They escaped with a two-point victory over the Boise St. Broncos and then picked up a solid victory over TCU.
The Pac-12 has no teams in the AP Top 25.
