Denver Vs. Louisiana-Monroe Score Update: Pioneers Earn 20th Victory

The Denver Pioneers used an outstanding offensive performance to earn their 20th victory of the season with a 76-57 home win over Louisiana-Monroe. With the victory, the Pioneers moved into sole possession of second place in the Sun Belt West division.

Brian Stafford led the way for the Pioneers, scoring a game-high 25 points on 8/11 shooting from the field. Stafford hit 6/9 from behind the three-point line and also dished out a team-high five assists in the victory. Brett Olson chipped in 15 points, as Denver University shot 55.3% from the field as a team. The Pioneers assisted on 22 of their 26 made field goals and committed only 11 turnovers.

The Warhawks, who slumped to their 25th loss of the season, received a strong performance from Fred Brown. Brown led the way with 15 points, while Charles Winborne scored 14 points and Marcelis Hansberry chipped in 12 points in the loss.
