Denver Pioneers forward Jason Zucker might be donning a Minnesota Wild jersey next season and in the future once his season ends in a couple of months.
The Denver Pioneers are no stranger to seeing its star hockey players head off to the NHL, which means it wouldn't come as a surprise if sophomore forward Jason Zucker leaves for the Minnesota Wild after his season ends. Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher said as much recently:
Wild GM Chuck Fletcher just confirmed to KFAN radio that he will look to turn Denver forward Jason Zucker pro after this season.

Zucker has scored 38 goals and totaled 79 points through nearly two seasons with the Pioneers. The Wild drafted him in the second round of the 2010 NHL Draft (59th overall pick).
The Wild are near the bottom of the league in offense with 117 goals, 2.21 goals per game and 26.9 shots per game. They could use some youth and offense, both of which Zucker provides.
