2012 College Hockey schedule: Pioneers start regular season

The Denver Pioneers will open their season with non-conference play against Massachusetts-Lowell, while the Colorado College Tigers and Air Force Falcons will face each other to start off this weekend in college hockey.

Colorado College and Air Force kicked off their seasons last weekend, and the Denver Pioneers will join them in non-conference play starting on Friday. The Tigers put together two wins last weekend over Clarkson, while the Falcons were forced to settle with two straight 3-3 draws in Anchorage against Alaska and Alaska-Anchorage.

This weekend's action will feature Air Force taking on Colorado College and Denver, while the Massachusetts-Lowell River Hawks will travel to Colorado to take on the Pioneers and the Tigers on Friday and Saturday.

Colorado College vs. Air Force, Cadet Ice Arena, 7:05 p.m. MT

Massachusetts-Lowell vs. Denver, Magness Arena, 7:35 p.m. MT

Saturday, Oct. 20

Massachusetts-Lowell vs. Colorado College, Colorado Springs World Arena, 7:05 p.m. MT
