DU Pioneers Vs. South Alabama Score Update: Pioneers Lead 30-24 At Half

Despite an uncharacteristic offensive performance in the opening half, the Denver Pioneers hold a 30-24 lead over South Alabama in a key Sun Belt matchup.

The Pioneers shot only 40.7% from the field in the opening hall and committed six turnovers. Chris Udofia led the way with nine points and four rebounds, while Brian Stafford added nine points. Stafford hit 3/5 attempts from behind the arc to help spread out the South Alabama defense.

While there were some struggles on the offensive end, the Pioneers had to be pleased with their defensive effort. The Jaguars shot only 46.7% from the field and committed nine turnovers. Augustine Rubit was limited to only five points and three rebounds in the opening half. Trey Anderson proved to be the best offensive threat for South Alabama, netting a team-high six points.
