Negotiations between the Denver Nuggets and restricted free agent center Javale McGee have been "going well" so far, as Ken Berger of CBS Sports reports. Berger adds that McGee has expressed a desire to stay with the Nuggets for the foreseeable future, increasingly the likeliness that he ends up back in Colorado.

McGee impressed during Denver's seven-game series against the Los Angeles Lakers this year, averaging 8.6 points per game, 9.6 rebounds per game and 3.1 blocks per game while cutting down on the careless plays that had previously become a staple of his game with the Washington Wizards.
