The Denver Nuggets' 2012-13 schedule was released by the NBA on Thursday night. The Nuggets begin their season in Philadelphia on Oct. 31, and as the team's Twitter account notes, the schedule is heavy on road games in the early going.

#Nuggets will play 9 of first 12 games and 17 of first 23 on the road. Defending champion Miami Heat in Denver on Nov. 15.

The Nuggets are also playing on Christmas for the third time in four years; this year they have a game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
