NBA Offseason 2012: Heat Reportedly Have Interest In Andre Miller

Stay connected for news and updates

The Miami Heat, one loss away from going home empty-handed for the second season in a row, will almost certainly be looking to add a veteran to their team for the 2012-2013 season, and that player may just be the Denver Nuggets' Andre Miller. According to Pro Basketball Talk, the Heat are reportedly interested in signing Miller to, presumably, be their backup point guard.

The one hang up would be the salary. The Heat are expected to have only about $3 million in free money available next season barring a drastic shake up of their core lineup, so Miller would have to be willing to take an almost 50% pay cut in order to join the Heat. But, if the lure of a championship is that strong, he may at least think it over.
