Al Harrington Injury: Harrington's Nose Broken By Andrew Bynum

Stay connected for news and updates

Andrew Bynum has a history of dirty play, and a wayward elbow from the Los Angeles Lakers big man broke Denver Nuggets forward Al Harrington's nose in the third quarter of Friday night's Game 3.

The elbow from Bynum didn't seem intentional, and a foul wasn't called on the play, but nonetheless it was a direct hit on Harrington's nose. Harrington's status for Game 4 and the rest of the series is still unknown, but if he's fitted for the type of mask that has been worn by Kobe Bryant and Richard Hamilton, he should be back at some point in the series.
