Nuggets Vs. Lakers Score Update: Lakers Claw Back, Denver Up 72-65 After Three

If the Denver Nuggets are going to blow out the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 3, it's going to require a major run in the fourth quarter, as the Lakers came back from a 16-point halftime deficit to bring the Nuggets' lead to 72-65 entering the fourth quarter.

Andrew Bynum, who had been held scoreless in the first half, awoke in the third quarter and dropped in 12 points on 5-7 shooting, once again showing that Denver may have no counter for him when the Lakers run their offense through him. Kobe Bryant, who had 14 points at the half, took a step aside in the third, notching only three points, but upping his assist and rebound totals to five for the game.

Ty Lawson continued his stellar game for Denver, tallying five points in the quarter to give him 23 through three on the game. JaVale McGee, who is Denver's second leading scorer, picked up two baskets to bring his total for the game to 12.
