Wilson Chandler Injury: Nuggets Forward Undergoes Successful Surgery

The Denver Nuggets, down 0-1 to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2012 NBA Playoffs, got some good news on Tuesday afternoon. SF Wilson Chandler successfully underwent his scheduled hip surgery and should be healthy for a full 2012-13 campaign, according to Marc Spears of Yahoo!:

Chandler played in only 8 games in the 2011-12 season, 6 of them starts, and averaged 9.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He and F Danilo Gallinari joined the Nuggets midseason in 2011 as part of the three-way trade that sent F Carmelo Anthony to the New York Knicks.
