Timberwolves Vs. Nuggets Final Score: Denver Survives To Earn 113-107 Win

The Denver Nuggets led by 21 points after halftime on Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but the game was no blowout. Minnesota would battle back and make the contest a nail-biter, but Denver was still able hold on for a 113-107 victory.

The Nuggets were led by point guard Ty Lawson, who finished with 23 points, eight assists, and five rebounds in the win on 9-of-17 shooting. Arron Afflalo had 21 points for the Nuggets. Danilo Gallinari scored 18 and Kenneth Faried scored 16 for Denver in the win.

Minnesota lost star forward Kevin Love just eight minutes into the game when he exited with a concussion. Rookie forward Derrick Williams would pick up the slack for the T-Wolves, adding 28 points and six rebounds off the bench. Nikola Pekovic, Jose Juan Barea, and Martell Wester each scored 12 for Minnesota in the loss.
