The Denver Nuggets are certainly feeling good after a 17-point victory over the Chicago Bulls, the NBA's best team, on Monday night. That win propelled the Nuggets back into the No. 8 spot in the Western Conference playoff standings and out of the lottery on the 2012 draft. With that in mind, ESPN's Chad Ford (Insider) has put out his second mock draft of the year, selecting Kentucky Wildcats forward Terrence Jones for the Nuggets with the 16th overall pick:
Analysis: Jones has enough talent to be five or six spots higher in the draft, but his inconsistent attitude may push him down a few spots. He'd be a great fit for the Nuggets, another versatile player who can play either forward position and shoot the basketball.
Jones, a sophomore, has averaged 12.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game during the 2011-12 season. He can play both the three and the four, but he'd need to battle Kenneth Faried, who is having a great rookie season, and Danilo Gallinari to get playing time at the other positions.
