Nuggets Vs. Jazz Score Update: Jazz Lead By Eight At Half

The Utah Jazz blitzed the Denver Nuggets in the second quarter of the teams' game on Friday night and entered the locker room at half up 63-55 over the new look Nuggets. Denver's offense was obviously fine in the first half, as the team shot 48% from the field and 40% from three, but their defense was even more obviously atrocious, allowing the Jazz to shooting 61% from the field and 60% from three.

It was a team effort for Utah, who had seven different players score over seven points in the half, with Al Jefferson and Devin Harris leading the Jazz with 13 and 10 points respectively, with Harris sinking two three pointers. The Nuggets were led by the on-fire Arron Afflalo, who scored 12 points on 3-7 shooting but 5-5 shooting from the free throw line. New acquisition Javale McGee, still coming off the bench, had ten points and two blocks in the first half.
