Mavericks Vs. Nuggets: Julyan Stone To Start Again In Place Of Danilo Gallinari

The Denver Nuggets will once again be starting undrafted rookie Julyan Stone at small forward in place of the injured Danilo Gallinari, according to Benjamin Hochman of the Denver Post. Rounding out Denver's starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks are Ty Lawson, Arron Afflalo, Chris Andersen and Nene.

Stone, 23, made his first career start against the Houston Rockets on Feb. 6, playing a career-high 21 minutes. The undrafted rookie out of UTEP has appeared in six games with the Nuggets since making his NBA debut on Jan. 11 against the New Jersey Nets.

Over Stone's first six games, he's averaged 2.3 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in 10.5 minutes, shooting a solid 46 percent from the field. With Gallinari expected to be out for a while, don't be surprised if Stone ends up sticking around for a bit.
