Ty Lawson Injury: Nuggets Guard Leaves With Ankle Sprain

The last thing the Denver Nuggets need is another injury to a starter, but that's exactly what happened tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Point guard Ty Lawson has left the game with a left ankle sprain and won't return.

Lawson was off to a good start against Minnesota, too. Lawson's night ends with 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting with one rebound and one assist in 16 minutes of play.

Denver played the first half tonight without starting center Nene, guard Rudy Fernandez, or backup big man Chris Andersen. Al Harrington (17 points) and Arron Afflalo (12 points) have picked up the slack thus far for Denver.
