The Denver Nuggets didn't hold the lead for long in Friday night's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, but they were 24 seconds from victory after Corey Brewer put them on top late in the fourth quarter. On Memphis' last possession, Rudy Gay took the ball on an isolation play on the wing and attempted a tough baseline fadeaway over two defenders.
The shot bounced off the front of the rim, where it hung in perfect position for a tip. Memphis' Dante Cunningham, who was able to get in position by slipping by an unsuspecting Kenneth Faried, happily obliged, giving the Grizzlies a thrilling victory.
