Nuggets Vs. Mavericks Score Update: Denver Trails By 10 After One

Stay connected for news and updates

Perhaps the Denver Nuggets are battling tired legs in addition to the Dallas Mavericks tonight at American Airlines Arena. The Nuggets played last night, beating the Suns at home, and now trail the Mavericks 27-17 after one quarter in Dallas.

Denver's starting lineup seems to constantly be in flux, and tonight they offer another new look: Kosta Koufos returns to get the start at center, and Corey Brewer and Kenneth Faried start at the forward spots. Denver looks like a team in limbo after a quarter, hitting just 5-of-18 shots from the field (27.8 percent).

Rudy Fernandez's four points leads Denver after one. Ty Lawson and Al Harrington each have three points.

Dirk Nowitzki has eight points to power the Mavericks. Shawn Marion added six points in the first quarter, while Lamar Odom scored five.
