Nuggets Vs. 76ers Score Update: Denver Takes 51-45 Lead Into Halftime

The Denver Nuggets have taken a 51-45 lead into halftime against the Philadelphia 76ers after trailing for most of the game. The 76ers had a 28-19 lead after one period and took a double-digit lead in the second half.

After being down nine points through one quarter, the Nuggets trailed 39-25 following a Jrue Holiday three-pointer nearly four minutes into the second quarter. Denver ended up finishing off the quarter on a 26-6 run, dominating Philadelphia for the remaining eight-plus minutes.

Neither team shot particularly well in the first half, with both teams coming in at 43 percent from the field. Denver primarily saw its advantage at the free throw line, where it made 10 of 13 attempts while the Philadelphia took and made just two attempts.

The Nuggets didn't have a single scorer get into double-digits in the first half as they had a very well-balanced attack. Nene led the team with nine points, while Andre Miller and Chris Andersen came off the bench to score eight points apiece.

The 76ers got 12 points from reserve forward Thaddeus Young to lead the way, while Holiday had eight points and Elton Brand had seven points.
