Rudy Fernandez Injury Update: Nuggets Guard Inactive Vs. Sixers

Stay connected for news and updates

The Denver Nuggets will be without shooting guard Rudy Fernandez for Wednesday night's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Multiple reports confirm that Fernandez is still working his way back from his Achilles injury.

Fernandez played just nine minutes against the Utah Jazz on Sunday before he left the game with the initial injury. He was unable to play on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks. Corey Brewer picked up plenty of minutes as a result and led the Nuggets with 22 points off the bench. We should expect more playing time for Brewer once again with Fernandez out.

Also not playing in this game will be the Sixers' center, Spencer Hawes. His replacement is Nikola Vucevic. The Nuggets will also be without starting center Timofey Mozgov due to a bad back. Kosta Koufos will start in his place.
