Nuggets Vs. Lakers Score Update: Denver Leads 72-71 Heading Into 4th Quarter

The Los Angeles Lakers were able to climb back into the game by nearly equaling their first half scoring output in the third quarter alone. Kobe Bryant continues to have an off night -- he's now 3-18 from the field -- but Denver has had trouble with Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum, who have scored 14 and 16 points, respectively.

The Nuggets, meanwhile, are dealing with some major foul trouble. Nene Hilario picked up his fourth foul early in the quarter, and Arron Afflalo also has four. Timofey Mozgov finished the quarter with five fouls. The foul problems have limited Nene to about 12 minutes of playing time.

Five Nuggets players are in double figures, and Danilo Gallinari leads the way with 15.
