The Denver Post is reporting that Denver Nuggets star forward Carmelo Anthony will not play Wednesday due to a slight knee inflammation.

Denver already faced an uphill struggle to get Coach George karl his 1000th career victory on the road against the top team in the Eastern Conference, especially on the second night of a back-to-back, but that task has been made more difficult without the services of their top scorer.

This will be the first game that Anthony will miss completely this season. Denver has an off day tomorrow before travelling to face Toronto on Friday, December 10.
