Broncos Vs. Steelers: Denver Leads 14-13 Going Into Final Quarter

A lengthy drive for a field goal took more than nine minutes off the clock and kept Peyton Manning on the sidelines, but it took only 36 seconds for him to erase the lead that Pittsburgh took two possessions and almost an hour to build. After pushing the lead out to 13-7 on a second Shaun Suisham field goal Manning needed just two plays before he found Demaryius Thomas for a 71-yard touchdown pass.

Pittsburgh's offense picked up right where it left off, having dominated the time of possession in the quarter. The first drive took 16 plays and went 74 yards. After Thomas' touchdown the Steelers once again went on a march, getting down to the two yard line as time expired. All told, Denver had the ball for 36 seconds in the third period.
