Broncos Vs. Steelers Halftime Score: Denver Trails Pittsburgh At Home, 10-7

Stay connected for news and updates

The Pittsburgh Steelers drew first blood in their Sunday night matchup with the Denver Broncos, and they hold a 10-7 haltime lead after Heath Miller scored on a four-yard touchdown pass.

Shaun Suisham connected on a 21-yard field goal with 10:10 left in the second quarter, completing a 10-play, 33-yard drive. The field goal came after Ben Roethlisberger threw three incomplete passes following a Steelers first down at the Denver 3-yard line.

It took little time for the Broncos to respond. Peyton Manning directed his first scoring drive in a Broncos uniform, moving 80 yards in 12 plays. Knowshon Moreno capped the drive with a seven-yard touchdown run.

So far Manning has been effective in running the Denver offense. He has completed 10 of 14 passes for 98 yards. Unfortunately, it took just four minutes and 17 seconds for the Steelers to go 89 yards in 14 plays to score the Miller touchdown, which came with 28 seconds left in the half.
